BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing is back on air tonight, following a public uproar, with Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman introducing 15 new celebrities to the ballroom.

The stars will be matched with their professional partners as the 20th anniversary launch show kicks off.

Judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke will be sharing their initial thoughts on the couples.

This series also marks the comeback of beloved pro Amy Dowden, after her fight with breast cancer.

In honour of her return, a celebratory group dance featuring all of the professionals will be part of the launch show. The stunning and empowering Quickstep routine will put Amy in the spotlight.

This autumn's series will be the most accessible yet, with live signing for the first time available on BBC iPlayer.

Audiences will also welcome the return of Aljaz Skorjanec after a two-year break as he steps up as a pro dancer.
