Melissa reeves children

After a five year absence, Melissa Reeves triumphantly returned to "Days of our Lives" and the role of Jennifer Horton, one of daytime television's most beloved characters.

Reeves originally dreamed of becoming a professional dancer.

She commuted into New York City to study dance with Phil Black as well as studied at the Lee Strasberg Institute in Manhattan. Her first debut into acting was in an after school special called "The Lakeside High Experiment". After that she soon landed roles in daytime dramas such as "Another World" and "Santa Barbara" (both off the air).

Reeves moved to Los Angeles and graduated from high school while still working on the daytime dramas.

In fact, one month after she left 'Santa Barbara' she was cast as Jennifer Horton (Devereaux) on Days of Our Lives.

Melissa is married to actor and singer, Scott Reeves and they reside in the San Fernando Valley with their daughter, Emily, and their son, Larry.

Reeves enjoys quilting, sewing, and painting.
